Another
important way we "fulfill the vision" to help spread
the Gospel throughout the Philippines is through printing
New Testaments, as well as evangelistic and Christian growth
materials. This ministry, begun by Rev. Rayburn Freeman in
1981 has significantly contributed to the growth of the BMA
ministry here.
A
dedicated staff, headed by their manager, Estella Vingson,
produces Sunday School books that are prepared for our BMAP
churches here through the help of the BMAA Publications Department
under the direction of Dr. James Larry Silvey. Not only BMAP
churches, but also over 480 other churches and Sunday School
teachers use this material every Sunday morning throughout
the Philippines, as well as sending them to nine foreign countries.
In addition to the English Sunday School material, we have
children and adult Ilonggo Sunday School
Christian
Education has been an important factor in the growth of the
BMA Ministry here. Through the Christian Academies and Kindergartens,
many children have grown up to take positions of responsibilities
and leadership in their churches and communities. BMA Printing
has helped by preparing materials to use in these ministries.
Tracts
are still very useful tools for evangelism. When someone is
handed a tract, they actually read it! The tract often is
taken home and passed around among family members. Printing
enough tracts and Christian growth material to keep them on
hand is an important part of our job.
BMAP
Publications is "fulfilling the vision" in the Philippines
through printing New Testaments, as well as evangelistic and
Christian growth material that help spread the Gospel and
aid in planting and growing churches.
